Reportance tab missing from Excel

If, on opening Excel the Reportance tab is missing, or you receive an error message that 'Reportance.ExcelAddin.AddinModule is not enabled', please do the following:


1) Hard restart Excel from memory


Close excel, then press Ctrl - Shift - Esc and close any instances of Excel in the 'processes' or 'details' tab - it will come up as EXCEL.exe.

Try opening Excel again, if the tab reappears then the issues has been fiex.


2) Check the add-in


Go to the File Menu and confirm whether a Reportance tab appears there like so:



If it does not appear


Check whether the Reportance Addin has fallen into disabled items by following the steps in the following article:

If this fails, you will need to reinstall Reportance. It is recommended that you uninstall Reportance from the Control Panel first prior to performing the reinstall.


If it does appear


If it is, check whether the tab has been hidden by selecting the quick access toolbar and selecting "More Commands..." as shown in the below screenshot.




Go to 'Customise the toolbar', and ensure 'Reportance' is selected in the list on the far right, which should look as follows:
