If an account has been allocated in the wrong area, it can easily be dragged back from the master chart to the unallocated accounts section.
Ensure that the account is dragged back to the correct account category, for example, if a bank account has incorrectly been allocated as a short-term investment, it can be dragged back to the unallocated assets and it will be given the category of an asset.
However, the auto allocate rules will not work, as the allocation method will be set to manual. For the auto allocate rule to work, the method must be set to auto.
